“Waxwings are beautiful migratory birds that visit the UK during the winter.  They tend to be along the east coast so it’s a privilege to see them.  Their beautiful plumage and flocking behaviour in bushes and trees laden with berries inspired the painting.”

Alison Ingram BA(Hons) SAA – Alison is a professional wildlife artist working in a semi-abstract style.  In 2014 she was unanimously voted in as a signature member of the Society of Animal Artists in the USA and also started exhibiting her painting in the only Wildlife Gallery in The Netherlands.
