“This painting was inspired by watching grey herons at Warnham Nature Reserve.  Herons are fascinating birds, they look quite prehistoric and have the most beautiful plumage.  I wanted to portray a group of herons peacefully coexisting.”

Alison Ingram BA(Hons) SAA – Alison is a professional wildlife artist working in a semi-abstract style.  In 2014 she was unanimously voted in as a signature member of the Society of Animal Artists in the USA and also started exhibiting her painting in the only Wildlife Gallery in The Netherlands.
